Develop and coordinate all structural and sealing systems PV&V activities with appropriate base engine design/development teams and application project teams for all engine projects. Responsible for PV&V sub-process deliverables for engine structural and sealing systems. Serve as a technical expert for the development and application of structural and sealing systems within Engine Engineering. Provide ownership for establishing and documenting all PV&V processes related to engine structural and sealing systems. Provide process leadership for all engine structural and sealing systems PV&V activities. Accelerated test development experience. Education  Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience. Master's degree in Engineering preferred.Required Skills and Experience  Minimum of 6-10 years of structural and sealing systems design experience or relevant engine design/development experience.  Strong engine product knowledge with excellent technical understanding of engines. Prior experience with demonstrated accomplishments in the development and application of engine structural and sealing systems. Extensive knowledge of state-of-the-art analyses and test procedures used to qualify engine structural and sealing systems for production. Diesel engine application knowledge with excellent understanding of proper PV&V activities needed to develop a robust product for a wide variety of off-road applications. Excellent analytical skills with ability to blend both analytical and experimental procedures to produce robust engine sub-systems. Basic understanding of statistical experimental methods such as Design of Experiments, Design for Six Sigma, need to test tolerance extremes or corner conditions, etc. Desired Skills and Experience  Joint structural and sealing analysis or experience.
