Statistician, ZP-1530-II or III

The NOAA Fisheries Service (that is parts of the US Federal Government) is seeking a statistician to conduct statistical analysis supporting public policy.  Experience in statistical analyses using standard analytical packages is required and knowledge of relational database is preferred.    

 

The organization:



Based in Gloucester (MA), the northeast Regional Office (NERO) of the NOAA Fisheries Service administers NOAA’s programs in the Northeastern United States to efficiently manage living marine resources.

 

NERO is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing programs for fishery management, resource allocations, and habitat and protected species (endangered and threatened species and marine mammals) conservation.

 

The NERO is a friendly Government environmental agency monitoring the ocean resources.  The Fishery Statistic Office team is a professional and fun team to work with.  Work hours are flexible and good vacation days plus 10 days of holidays.

 

The Location:
