Terminal Supervisor – Langhorne, PA
This is an Exempt/Full-Time position

Job Description:
Position will oversee daily operations of a Food Grade Distribution Terminal for ADM Sweetener Division. This facility is the largest transfer station for the company across the nation. Terminal Supervisor will assist Terminal Manager in recruitment, selection and the hiring of new employees (truck/rail product handlers, warehouse, etc.) Position will assist in the management of all facility employees, including employee discipline. Supervisor will responsible for the promotion and demonstration of the safety culture in facilities and ensure compliance for all OSHA, Safety and assist in DOT guidelines. The considered candidate will also become a member of Safety Committee, attend monthly safety meetings and will conduct new hire orientations. Position will assist in the purchase and maintenance of terminal supplies, property and equipment; be the Technical Service advisor; and will assist in inventory management and communication with ADM’s corporate accounting. Candidate will handle other tasks as required.

Requirements:
Two to four years of experience in trucking terminal management preferred. Ideal candidate will have relevant food grade handling and food safety experience. It is preferred that the considered candidate have working knowledge of OSHA, Safety and assist in DOT regulations and be willing to become a member of Safety Committee. Considered candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Candidate will have the ability to learn ADM systems and procedures, as needed. Candidate must be willing to work as needed after hours and weekends. Minimal travel required.
