Tree Climber

Growing, well-respected leading tree care and service company has an opportunity for an experienced arborist climber.  We have developed a formidable reputation for providing valued added customer service with exceptional quality to its customers in the St. Louis area.  We offer a safe work environment and utilize the most up-to-date equipment, technology, and training in the industry.  Three (3) plus years of climbing experience and excellent customer service skills may qualify you for this position.

 

Essential Duties and Qualifications:

 

·  I.S.A. Certified Arborist preferred;

·  In-depth knowledge of safety equipment required to perform duties;

·  Ability to perform complete tree maintenance inspections and recommend appropriate corrective actions;

·  Ability to perform all duties related to arboricultural practices, including but limited to: ANSI A/300 pruning standards and rigging and removal of hazardous trees;

·  Ability to work at various heights, including work in proximity to energized conductors, performing tree maintenance and tree removal, using aerial devises and manual climbing using approved climbing, safety equipment, and techniques;

·  Drives, operates, inspects, and ensures proper maintenance of various equipment, including but not limited to: chipper, stump cutter, chain saw, motorized pole saw, and other associated equipment and hand tools appropriate with an arborist position;

·  Carries out all duties based on established OSHA standards and takes part in all safety meetings;

·  Completed all appropriate First Aid/CPR training;

·  Has exceptional communications and interpersonal skills and has the ability to communicate with customers to address work site issues;

·  Valid diver’s license and a clean driving record.
