Pilgrim's Pride is currently seeking a Waste Water Manager at our Natchitoches, LA location. This position will keep waste treatment in compliance with EPA & DEQ, and make sure all offal is dispersed in a proper manner. This position will also keep employee work areas safe and supervise their performance.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Manages the treatment of waste water and oversees the adherence of all guidelines set forth by the Department of Environmental Quality and the Environmental Protection Agency.
2. Maintain and oversee the Storm Water Control Plan and Hazardous Material Control and Spill plans
3. Manage chemical inventory for daily operations
4. Oversee maintenance and repair of waste treatment facilities and equipment
5. Actively participate in Haz-Mat and Confined Space Rescue Teams
6. Identify problem areas and change or modify that sector of the organization as needed
7. Foresee and evaluate possible problems and to plan alternative solutions in order to nurture growth and stability within the organization
8. Supervise up to 10 full-time employees
9. Establish criteria, formulating projects, assessing program effectiveness, or investigating or analyzing a variety of unusual conditions, problems, questions.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Be able to make quick, responsible decisions
• Be able to work well with Management staff and partners
• Possess good public relations skills

Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in a related field.
- 5 years supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
- Skill in the use of electric and manual tools.
- Experience sufficient to understand the equipment, as well as electrical components and be able to resolve problems with same would be a plus.
- Must possess a minimum Class III Waste Water License or have the ability to obtain an appropriate State Certified license within twelve months of employment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) and SAP.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree within specific subject area related to job functions or equivalent combination of education and experience.
