Position Responsibilities: Working together with some of the industry’s most innovative minds, the Sr. Design Engineer is responsible for conceptualizing the design of advanced engine components, transmissions and hydraulic hybrid drives. The Sr. Design Engineer is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of new designs and modifications to components and sub-systems. There will be considerable involvement and responsibility in the design layout, analysis, procurement, inspection and validation testing of each project. The Sr. Design Engineer will create and maintain conceptual CAD models, engineering documentation, as well as make regular presentations on new technical ideas, identification of risks and methods of implementation. Qualifications: BSME minimum, MS in Engineering preferred Demonstrated mechanical design experience with engine components, transmissions, and/or hydraulic drives Must have a highly creative ability to concept and design new technical concepts Experience in the design of complex castings and precision machined components  Heavy experience in PRO/E solid modeling is required  Pro/Mechanica experience beneficial Experience with tolerance stack-ups & other engineering calculations Knowledge of GD&T application Knowledge of prototype manufacturing processes Demonstrated project leadership and interpersonal communication skills  7 years minimum experience in related positions For more detailed information regarding FEV, Inc. feel free to visit our web site at http://www.fev.com/EOE, M/F/V/DClick here to apply Company: FEV, Inc.
