3D ARTIST - ARCHITECTURE STUDIO

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

IOMEDIA is seeking a 3D artist to join their architecture studio.  This individual will visualize their intent through a combination of 3D and 2D compositing techniques. This is a full-time, salaried position with a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance and a 401K profit-sharing program.  IOMEDIA also has freelance opportunities in a similar capacity.

 

 

AREAS OF JOB RESPONSIBILITY 

· Execute on projects & storyboards, and realize those designs as compelling imagery and animation.

· Read, understand, and interpret CAD and design documentation [i.e-hand sketches, renderings, photographs, illustrations, etc.]

· Generate efficient 3D models from the provided documentation using existing IOMEDIA production standards.

· Prepare, set-up, and manage efficient rendering of scenes on distributed and/or network rendering, and submit those scenes to our render farm management system.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· 1-3 years’ experience in architectural visualization/3D design

· Education in architecture preferred

· Must work effectively within team environment

·  

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

· High-level of facility with AutoCAD or other CAD software

· High-level of facility with 3D Studio Max/Vray

· High-level of facility with Adobe PhotoShop / Illustrator
