Architect / Architecture / Design Director

**** MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH CASINO / HOTEL / CONDOMINIUM PROJECTS ****

 

Our clients are exciting architectural design firms focused in the hospitality industry. Projects include major new hotels, casino, and restaurants.

 

Managing Architect

Mimimum 5+ years verifiable design & technical experience in Casino, Hotel, Condo, or Themed Restaurant projects.

 

Exceptional detailing experience with thorough knowledge of materials and finishes.

 

Must be proficient in AutoCad 2006 or Revit 9. Hotel / Casino / Hospitality / Large Scale Projects a MUST!!  FF&E selection, custom furniture specifications, pricing, ordering & invoicing.

 

Must be able to lead staff of design professionals from concept through completion.  Verifiable experience with large scale Hotel / Resort / Casino  projects, must be an expert with color, materials & finish selections, furniture specifications, and lighting.

 

Experience in large scale casino, hospitality, retail & mixed-use projects. Candidate will work with principal on all projects including client meetings and presentations, master planning, conceptual design through DD.

 

 

Oversee Junior Architects

Client development

International project experience a plus

Generate reports and Schedules

BS Architecture

Large Scale Multi-use experience a must

Experience with Hospitality / Resort Projects

Casino project experience a plus

Revit experience a must

Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment

 

Must have recent experience in the casino / gaming, hospitality, resort, or hotel industry. 

 

Prefers previous experience dealing with productivity and quality control issues associated with a construction management, estimating or related professional services firm providing solutions to the commercial construction marketplace, to industrial clients and especially to the hospitality and casino / gaming marketplace.  

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to: use sound judgment on difficult construction management related engineering/architectural problems; understand and interpret written and oral directions, specifications and plans, deal tactfully and positively with engineers, architects and others in the private sector as well as government officials; complete projects on schedule, within appropriation amounts and in accordance with contract documents.
