About the Opportunity

You will manage new and renovation projects, team performance, and client relationships in a manner consistent with firm-wide standards.  Act as a technical resource to team members, fielding questions and providing guidance on technical detailing, construction assembly systems, structural and ME&P integration, code compliance and specifications.  Work closely with design and architect teams, and provide progress and performance reports. Monitor the project budget, control expenses and avoid legal challenges. Develop client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and project assignments. Domestic travel may be required.

 

Qualifications:

·  Retail project management experience including planning, resource allocation, staffing, and budget.

·  Track record of management through delegating, coaching and mentoring.

·  Respond quickly and competently to customer requests.

·  Demonstrated ability to solve problems by gathering information and evaluating options.

·  Proven documentation skills.

·  Familiarity with issues of compliance for state and federal regulations.

·  Verifiable accuracy in estimating.

·  Skilled at analyzing causes of variances between actual and budget income and expenses.

·  Implement departmental policies, procedures, and workflows.

·  Demonstrate technical knowledge of construction systems, assemblies and detailing.

·  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture and a minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 3-5 years retail project experience

·  AutoCAD proficiency.

·  NJ Registered Architect preferred.
