Architect-Senior Designer

PURPOSE:Senior Designer will be involved in developing design concepts; preparing design documents during the design development phase; correcting design documents; developing solutions to design problems and presenting design concepts to clients.  The Senior Designer will review the drawings and documents of intermediate and junior designers for compliance with company design standards.

 

 



Expectations and Essential Duties: 

· Fulfill the primary Role of Design on assigned projects, and other project roles as assigned or necessary.

· Estimate time frames and budget for assigned projects with accuracy.

· Develop drawings and documents for the design of projects in compliance with company design philosophy and the needs of the project.

 

· Present project Designs to Clients, Public Agencies and team members.

 

· Provide expertise in one or more areas of design significance (LEED, specific project (type(s), presentation techniques, etc.)

 

· Utilize standard company software for design and presentations.

 

· Incorporate design feedback from Director of Design (DOD) and Milestone meetings.

 

· Monitor and provide feedback to other team members in the execution of design projects.

 

· Complete design projects that exceed the owner’s expectations, goals and objectives.

 

· Share the responsibility of achieving the owner’s budget with the design team.
