Architect/Senior PM for Healthcare Projects

Job Description/Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for the Healthcare Studio to with a minimum 10 years experience in hospital design and construction to join our team in our downtown Manhattan office. The Project Manger assumes full responsibility of the project overview by monitoring and controlling the project's delivery process. The Project Manager works with the project design and technical leaders throughout all phases of the project. As the project gets underway, the Project Manager will be responsible for the accumulation of information regarding the clients specific needs. Responsibilities: As the project team leader, the Project Manager is responsible for briefing all team members regarding the status of the project. Prepare and administer the Owner-Architect agreement and develop and maintain a staff budget consistent with the agreement. Prepare the budgets and schedules in order to establish the parameters for the design efforts Ensure the firm presents a packages which can be built within the require time and budget. Establish task schedule and manpower requirements consistent with the project agreement. Coordinate and monitor work in progress, and project accounts. Set up and maintain all project communication and record storage, and document all project meeting proceedings. Attend and direct all project meetings in-house, with the client, subcontracted consultants and the builder. Establish and maintain relationship with client to ensure continuous client satisfaction.

Qualifications: Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in an architectural or interior design firm, development and/or corporate facilities construction management. A demonstrated understanding of the architectural process from the proposal and contract negotiations through contract administration. A demonstrated knowledge of architecture and/or interior design planning, technical detailing and construction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Architectural practice license desirable Knowledge of CAD and/or other applicable software LEED Accredited Professionals
