Architectural Project Manager

Due to recent growth, DLB Associates is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated Architectural Project Manager for our headquarters in Ocean, NJ. We offer full service Engineering Management and Construction services in the US and abroad.

 

The Architectural Project Manager will work as part of the Program/ Project Management team, successfully manage large international construction projects.  There will be some International travel required in this role.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

 Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering (civil or mechanical). MBA preferred.Minimum 10 years experience as Project Manager managing construction projects, or providing construction management for large scale projects.Skilled at effectively running meetings involving multidiscipline teams.Proven track record working as Project Manager for large international engineering/ construction firm or large International Corporation. Proven track record of effectively manage engineering/ construction teams.Problem solver; able to think logically; able to analyze many parts of a complex problem at the same time.Able to at taking direction from Program Managers, team oriented, able to effectively follow and effectively lead.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as computer proficiency including MS Office Suite.  Must be able to document job progress clearly.Strong technical knowledge of the construction trades/ process.Some international travel to Europe and Asia required. 

 

Preferred ExperienceExperience working outside the US.Coursework or continuing education in project management.PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification from PMI (Project Management Institute).Civil or mechanical design experience.Experience with large chilled water systemsLarge Industrial or Data Center experience.Information Technology background.
