SACRAMENTO OFFICE OPPORTUNITY:
Highly respected, award winning, and sustainable design focused Sacramento Architectural Design & Planning office, composed on the ideals of team collaboration and architectural designs that are both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional; is in search of highly skilled, talented, and industry passionate Architectural Project Management level professional to join our growing Sacramento practice in the production of landmark and historic design projects throughout northern California.
Our firms most urgent hiring needs consist of:
1. Senior Licensed Architect (Studio Leader / Principle)
2. Architectural Project Manager (Licensed or Non- Licensed)
3. Project Architect (Licensed or Non- Licensed)
4. Architectural Job Captain
5. Architectural Designer
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Ideal candidates will posses 4+ years of professional architectural industry work experience preferable working within a team and big picture oriented architectural consulting office environment. Accredited architectural bachelors or masters degree is preferred but may be substituted with equivalent and significant hands on professional architectural work experience. Ideal candidates will have prior architectural project experience pertaining to public sector building and facilities such as healthcare, K-12 education, higher education, correctional, justice, institutional, or civic market sectors. (Candidates with large scale commercial project experience and strong interest in expanding their experience to include public sector projects will also be considered). Strong candidates will have either obtained their State Architect License or currently be on track to complete the IDP process in preparation for the ARE exams. CAD proficiency with AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, or Revit is strongly preferred but not required.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
As a new addition to our team this individual will take part in all aspects and phases of firm design & planning projects from pre-design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, agency review, bidding, and construction administration. Architectural professional will have the option to work within your choice of our healthcare, k-12 education, higher education, civic/ justice or corrections studio.
Job responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to:
* Perform layout and detailing on architectural projects.
* Provide production/design experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications.
* Coordinates work of multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of projects.
* Lead client and internal meetings and participates in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
* Conducts design development and contract document work sessions at the project site in conjunction with Project Manager and other disciplines.
* Coordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to complete documents on schedule.
* Reviews architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.
* Coordinates and assists, with affected disciplines, with any addendum, RFIs, CPRs and change orders and is responsible to incorporate agreed upon changes into the project documents.
* Provides construction administration as needed.

OFFICE LOCATION: Sacramento, California
COMPENSATION: $65,000 to $115,000 annual base salary dependent on experience level
