Conestoga Ceramic Tile (www.conestogatile.com) has been in business for 50 years. We represent 45 manufacturers of Ceramic Tile and Natural Stone products. Conestoga Tile has locations in Harrisburg, PA; Dulles, VA; Charlottesville, VA; and Baltimore, Md. Our centralized distribution center is located in Hanover, PA.

 

We are currently seeking an Architectural Sales Representative who would be based out of our Baltimore, MD location.

 

Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesAssist Architects and Designers in the specification and application of our manufacturer's products and services. Work towards building solid, lasting relationships, and focus on solidifying Conestoga Tile Manufacturer's specifications during the planning stage. Represent Conestoga Tile's products and services during architectural lunchbox AIA certified PowerPoint seminar programs. Be an active member in the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) organization. Update and maintain leads database information for Architects and Interior Designers. Service existing specifier accounts and open new accounts.Identify and establish relationships with the Top 20 Architectural and Top 20 Interior Design firms in the Greater Baltimore, MD area.Maintain architectural libraries and pursue specifications for ceramic tile and installation products.Schedule regular product knowledge seminars.Track large commercial projects.Perform other assigned duties as required.

 

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college, university or an architectural and/or interior design school.Working knowledge of construction documents and sales experience with Architectural and/or Interior Design firms. Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel) are required. Ability to effectively present information, written and verbal, and respond to technical questions from groups of managers, architects, and commercial ceramic tile contractors. A background in Interior Design and/or Architecture is desireable. Pro-active and results-oriented with a strpng work ethic.
