Assistant Site Manager

Due to recent growth, DLB Associates with headquarters in Ocean, NJ is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated Assistant Site Manager for our Tulsa, Oklahoma construction office. The Assistant Site Manager is an entry level role and will serve to support an exciting project based near Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role will take a team oriented approach to work closely with the management team and ensure that the project’s progress is effectively communicated, deadlines and deliverables are met and that the project milestones remain on target.

 



Requirements:



The ideal candidate must have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Construction management.



An understanding of the elements of Construction Engineering/ Construction Management including; estimating, scheduling, contracts, concrete, structural, clearing and grading, surveying, civil, site utilities, building construction, mechanical/ electrical systems, supervision, safety, permitting and project management.



Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as computer proficiency including MS Office Suite.



Strong technical writing skills are also required.



Exceptional problem-solving and consensus-building skills in addition to the ability to effectively interface with customers at all levels.

 





The individual should enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment.



Experience working as a construction superintendent or construction project manager, hands-on construction experience (construction trades or labor), blue print reading, familiarity with building codes, drafting or AutoCAD experience is preferred. Experience with digital photography, digital video/video editing, journalism or public speaking would be applicable to the role.
