Business Analyst

Maxim is a leading international supplier of quality analog and mixed-signal products for applications that require real world signal processing.

As a Business Analyst you will assist with the strategic and long range planning processes while providing insightful knowledge on manufacturing and financial operations to increase efficiencies and to improve the accuracy of business planning. Responsibilities include process improvement, assessment of cost savings opportunities, strategy development in collaboration with senior management and participation in the planning, evaluation and execution of key business objectives. Successful applicants must be able to quickly identify key complex operational and financial issues across a broad range of topics and effectively communicate recommendations to executive leadership.

Specific responsibilities include: Evaluate business processes with all areas of manufacturing and drive adoption and management of key metrics. Report on key manufacturing strategies and develop processes for managing data that will be used during the strategic review process. Present analyses to user groups and exec mgt in order to gain support and implement recommended direction. Generate inventory goals for Operations to ensure achievement of the company's revenue target. Act as key advisor on operations and strategy by integrating exceptional subject matter expertise with overall company performance goals.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, and Industrial Engineering or other applicable field plus 3-4 years of relevant work experience. MBA or related advanced degree strongly preferred with course work emphasis in finance, operations Detail oriented, excellent communication, multi-tasking skills, and strong analytical skills. Must thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. A thorough understanding of operations and capital budgeting processes, financial analysis techniques, financial reporting and accounting principles. Excellent verbal communication skills and experience presenting complex analysis to senior management both directly and through peer projects. Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Access required. Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects.
