CAD Operator - Survey

CONTROL POINT ASSOCIATES sets the standard in Land Surveying precision, comprehensiveness and efficiency with global positioning systems (GPS) technology. Accurate and portable, GPS offers significant time, cost and accuracy benefits, especially in difficult terrain. We deploy a multitude of field crews who utilize the latest state-of-the-art electronic total station and data collection services available, including robotic surveying. All field personnel are equipped with laptop computers, modems, and cellular/paging phones for immediate field-to-office communication. Our Project Managers anchor the office and field operations and support the field crews and technicians, utilizing high-speed computer systems, printers and plotters. Operating all systems in conjunction with state-of-the-art software, CONTROL POINT ASSOCIATES delivers a mix of high quality, accurate, timely and competitively priced value documents ensuring the clients' success.
CAD Operator
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Prepare ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Boundary & Topographic Surveys, As-built Surveys
Create surveys from field crew data collector files (points), field sketches, digital photographs and reference maps
Generate surfaces using 3d polylines & points
Coordinate project requirements with team members and provide assistance when necessary to complete required tasks.
Qualifications:
Two years experience in AutoCAD LDD 2004/2006 or equivalent CAD program
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Deed plotting experience a plus
Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering and construction industry a plus
Ability to meet project deadlines within given budget limits and time frames
Ability to prioritize and multi-task assigned projects, and work with minimal supervision.
Ability and focus on Quality Control/Quality Assurance
Ability in understanding of survey calculations a plus
Team Player
Desire to succeed and excel in a fast-paced work environment
Possess excellent organizational and communications skills
Possess strong technical background
