CAD Technologist

(RHL), an architecture/engineering firm with over 170 employees and several offices in the western United States. RHL is a recognized leader in providing full program implementation and comprehensive design services for commercial clients with regional or national multi-location facilities. Founded in 1966, RHL's diversified design team provides program and project management and comprehensive integrated design services for corporate clients nationwide. The firm has worked on more than 18,000 projects in over 2,000 cities throughout the United States for clients such as Wachovia, Starbucks, Rite Aid, Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets, Chevron, Hertz, and McDonalds. RHL has formed the new Commercial Program Development practice area unit within Stantec and is looking to hire a CAD Drafter in our Rocklin, California office. Responsibilities: • Produce accurate drawings and revisions as directed by the project leader• Assist in assembly of drawing sets as requested• Assist in information gathering and permitting activities as needed• Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry and developing technologies• Maintain knowledge of plan library contents, insertion points, applications, etc.• Assist and mentor new drafters Qualifications: • 3 years experience as an architectural drafter using AutoCAD • Commitment to excellence and high standards• Ability to manage priorities with various project leaders and consistent workflow• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities• Familiarity with construction standards and terminology• Acute attention to details• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams• Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
