CONTROLLER

$40 million sales organization in the Philadelphia suburbs seeks a Controller to assist the company in achieving its sales and profitability goals. Responsibilities include budget preparation, financial analysis and reporting, expense management, and policy and procedure oversight and compliance. Duties include preparing and reviewing the company’s financial statements and forecasts and creating reports using basic programming techniques. Controller will serve as the financial leader of the organization and engage with management, staff members including Sales Reps, corporate parent located outside of PA, and customers throughout the workday. Must be an experienced manager with the drive and initiative to actively lead the financial operation of the business, including managing and training staff.

At least 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance is required, including previous management experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business is required. A CPA, CMA and/or MBA are preferred. Proven management, leadership, IT (related to reporting), interpersonal and communication skills are required. Must be team and customer-oriented and have experience working for a capital goods business.
