Catalog Designer

Our client is the largest sports licensed headwear company in the world.  They have need for a temporary catalog designer for about a one month period.  The Catalog Designer is responsible for putting together the apparel catalog.  This would include putting together the 100 page catalog and proofing before it is sent to print.  The skills that the person would need to have would be:  Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Production Mechanical.  The Catalog Designer reports to the Director of Brand Design. Experience should include exceptional problem solving skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.  Accuracy with close attention to detail.  Demonstrated ability to multitask.  Continuously interested in developing design skills to stay abreast of the latest relevant trends.  Meeting deadlines in a fast past environment.  Ability to work in a collaborative environment across organizational structures.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position is full time, 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday and located in Downtown Buffalo.  The pay range is $13 to $15 per hour depending on experience. If interested in applying for this position, please contact;James Snee at Strauss Group, (716) 634-8367Or e-mail resume to James@Straussgroup.com   MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
