Civil/GIS Application Specialist, Advenced Technology Solutions Inc.



Advanced Technologies Solutions, Inc. a leading provider of CAD, GIS, multimedia, and 3D software has an immediate opening for an enterprising, energetic Civil Applications Specialist to join our team. This involves up-front consulting to determine what software is needed, assisting with installation and setup of software, training/supporting customers directly and via the telephone. Motivated team player with excellent problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills is required.



Civil Applications Engineer (Florida)
As a Civil Applications Engineer, you will consistently demonstrate your ability to deal with clients at a business-to-business level, identifying and providing solutions that fulfill the business needs of our civil/survey clients. 

 
Responsibilities:
 
Provide technology demonstrations, presentations, installations, on-site consultation and client training. Develop strong interpersonal relationships internally, with customers and technology suppliers. Work with Account Executives to evaluate client needs and recommend strategies to bring leading-edge technology to the Architectural industry in a rapidly evolving environment.
Requirements: Mature, professional engineer, capable of dealing at all levels of major corporate accounts, from executives to end-users. Professional experience and proven ability to successfully apply CAD technology in the civil engineering, survey, and, ideally, the GIS markets. Solution-based approach to solving customer requirements. Excellent written and verbal/visual communication skills. Problem solver with a “get it done” attitude and strong self-motivational attributes. High standards for yourself, your product, and your services. Superior organizational/time management skills and a “make-it-happen” attitude. Team player

 

Experience:



Five or more years of experience in an AutoCAD-based production
environment with experience specifically in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk MAP, and Autodesk Land Desktop. GIS knowledge and experience will be a considerable advantage for the successful candidate.
