Construction Inspector - Windows and Doors

Glazing Consultants International is a consulting firm specializing in the exterior building envelope.  GCI has been in business in South Florida for over 20 years.  We are seeking inspectors for a large assignment that will last at least three months.  Continued employment for exceptional candidates beyond this assignment is possible.

 

Knowledge of construction and windows and doors in particular is a must.  Basic computer skills are helpful.  Candidates must have their own reliable transportation for assignments throughout South Florida.  Some overnight travel may be required depending upon the location of each assignment.

 

This position would require travel to inspection sites in Southeast and Southwest Florida and inspect windows and doors in existing buildings following training and protocol provided by the company.  Field observations will be recorded with digital photographs and via a tablet computer.

 

The compensation for this assignment will be between 12 and 20 dollars per hour depending upon experience.  Travel expenses, including mileage and lodging, will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.  Some overtime may be required.
