Construction Management -- Commercial Painting

Operations and Estimating for Houston-based, growing commercial painting contractor

 

My client, a fast-growing commercial painting contractor, located around 290 & Hollister, needs a talented operations manager & estimator to start immediately.

 

Job Duties:

· Lead various commercial painting projects

· Provide supervision and project management expertise

· Assist and support estimating efforts, to include:

  ·  Maintain blueprints, materials, and other information regarding the bidded project

  ·  Provide complete and accurate take-offs

  ·Writing the scope of work for each project

·Providing complete estimates in proposal forms, and assessing labor requirements

  ·Developing materials budgets, and attending field walks and review budgets to

  verify accuracy of bills of materials and labor requirements

 

Requirements:

·  5+ years of construction experience

·  Proven track record in commercial paint painting/wallcoverings strongly preferred

·  Computer skills helpful



 

Salary:

Competitive, depending on experience.  Bonus opportunity (10-15%), full paid vehicle.
