Contract Project Manager (Operations Department)

 

PaceWildenstein, an Art Gallery which is home to many of the most significant artists and estates from the 20th and 21st centuries, is seeking a Project Manager to work with our Operations department in our East 57th street Gallery.  This full-time contract assignment is expected to last 4-6 months, beginning as soon as possible. 

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:Assist Director of Operations in multifaceted construction/renovation project at East 57th street GalleryInterface with staff, contractors, architects to coordinate, schedule, and manage construction -  including staging and relocation of staff and inventoryAssume direct day-to-day interaction with contractors and outside vendors as assigned by Director of Operations

 

Background and qualifications:BA Degree required 3-5 years Project Management experience requiredConstruction management experience a plus Must be detail-oriented and have strong computer skills (Ms Office required, MS Project a plus)Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills is requiredAbility to work well in a fast-paced deadline driven environment a must
