Director, Regional Sales - Northeast

 

We are seeking a strong and independent leader to optimize sales opportunities and achieve regional sales goals through a diverse independent sales representative sales force.  This includes maintaining a strong team oriented culture, maximizing partnership with internal and external customers as well as assigning and monitoring regional and individual sales goals.  Will also play an important role in the development, planning and on-going management of key residential accounts and provide field sales group with leadership, motivation and support. 

 

Requirements include a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of five years sales management experience preferably in the home furnishing industry.  Experience must include both managing sales representatives and managing client relationships on an ongoing basis.  Must have the demonstrated ability to lead and motivate an independent sales force towards a common goal, have a strong track record of building strong client relationship as well as strong internal partnerships.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to independently prioritize and the ability to adapt to change also required.  Travel is expected to be 60%.
