Position Overview:

The marketing communications group within the sales and marketing team is responsible for developing and maintaining a variety of marketing programs to acquire design and construction projects from new and existing customers for our Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Management services. Primary functions of the marketing communications group includes lead generation and management, proposal generation, collateral material development, management of brand implementation and management of metrics associated with the success of each. All activities will flow directory from an actively maintained communications roadmap.

 

The Director of Marketing Communications will manage a group of marketing communications managers and collaborate with colleagues in similar roles around the world. Sensitivity to business practices and in a variety of international regions will be required. Interaction with highly skilled and assertive technical professionals will be required to build the technical content of articles and presentations.

 

Responsibility for outbound promotions will include direct mail, online advertising, magazine advertising and trade shows. Future promotions should include a mix of PR, seminars and technical symposium presentations and landing pages. The position also includes management of all marketing data and reporting including management of our ASP based CRM. Management of international opportunities will occur with increasing frequency.

 

Responsibilities:Lead a team that develops marketing proposals Execute and manages specific marketing programs Manage agency relationships and creative development Oversee production and deployment of campaigns Oversee data collections and reporting on marketing campaignsManage budgets, and reports on performance against goals Program responsibility may include direct mail and email marketing, online advertising, and exploring partnerships and other new channels Responsible for effective design and implementation of these marketing programs by creating clear and strong communication strategies, overseeing project management and operational execution, and monitoring performance goals

 

Qualifications:

 Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to think strategically and lead cross-functional teams Bachelors degree required – BA in Journalism, rhetoric, English or similar preferred. Graduate degree preferred. 10+ years of B2B related experience in marketing communications required.Experience as a supplier to high technology industries such as semiconductor, pharma, biotech, and research is a strong plus. Applicants with experience in a large architecture, engineering and construction management firm will be given first consideration.Experience managing marketing personnel and outside agencies required.Demonstrated success working with creative agencies to produce strong creative that drives results Strong project management skills including the ability to track program results and package them for management reports Must be a creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation, able to develop new programs and processes from scratch.
