Drafters

MDS Staffing/Minneapolis Drafting Services is a technical placement agency. As of April 18, 2008, MDS has openings for Drafters and Designers. Some of the backgrounds we are looking for are:





* Cabinetry or Casework drafter with AutoCAD skills and experience creating shop drawings for wood


store fixtures/cabinetry/casework. [JO-648]





* Electrical designer/drafter with experience doing power and lighting layout for commercial buildings

using AutoCAD. [JO-588]





* Mechanical drafters with experience using AutoCAD to layout plumbing and/or HVAC systems for

   commercial buildings.  [JO-567 & 473]





* Controls Engineerswith background in HVAC or Building Controls systems For controls: BACnet, 

  LonWorks.  [JO-565]

 

* Architectural Drafters with experience creating shop drawings for either glass curtain walls or metal

 clad wall systems. [JO-560]





* Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing) to take responsibility for programs and/or processes

supporting Engineering goals and seeks continued improvement to engineering programs and processes. [JO-635]

 

* Project Coordinator/Project Manager (architecture.) Someone proficient in AutoCAD with  

experience in shop drawings, working with architects and engineers and overseeing projects. Involved

with owners and meeting deadlines. They do cafeterias for hospitals, colleges, casinos, and nursing

 homes. [JO-636]  





* Cabinetry or Casework drafter with experience creating shop drawings for wood store

fixtures/cabinetry/casework. Will be using AutoCAD and MicroVellum. [ JO-243]

 

* Mechanical drafting and design position. Seeking candidates with AutoCAD or Solidworks skills.

Will be completing 3D design, layout and detailing of material handling equipment. [ JO-292]




* Looking for a cabinetry millwork production drafter using Cabinet Vision software. [ JO-610] 

 

* Seeking Mechanical Drafter with AutoCAD skills to do detail drafting of pneumatic milling

  systems. [ JO-632] 

 

* Seeking Structural  Drafter with AutoCAD skills to do structural plans for commercial

construction projects. Position is located in southern Minnesota. [ JO-638] 

 

* Seeking Mechanical Drafter with  experience with pneumatic conveying equipment and

proficiency with AutoCAD.  Knowledge of Inventor or SolidWorks a plus. [ JO-654] 

 

* Seeking Drafter with AutoCAD skills for doing layouts of substation sites. Any experience

  location equipment such as transformers on a site would be helpful. Electrical experience in

  regards to transmission lines would be helpful. [ JO-662] 

 

* Seeking Steel Drafter with AutoCAD skills and experience detailing railings, stairs and other

misc. metals. [ JO-669] 

 

* Mechanical drafter to do 3D dimensioning in Solid Edge. No 2d work or flat layouts.

Mostly details, machined parts, and sheet metal. Need someone for 2 to 3 months. [ JO-671]
