You'll be working with a dynamic team with an impressive track record.We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be responsible for managing energy programs at the college/university level.  The Energy Manager develops and implements capital energy spending plans and operating protocols and monitors program performance.  Develops and formulates monthly energy cost reports, annual energy budgets, and participates in energy procurement activities.  Also, develops and maintains effective user rapport and provides guidance and training to enable others to grasp energy management fundamentals.  Directly supervises any energy department clerical and technical staff and interfaces with utility suppliers, contractors, and other agencies.Ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, with in depth understanding of the operation and maintenance of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, including chillers, air handling units, boilers, digital and pneumatic control systems and indoor air quality.  Building commissioning experience in the educational and/or research sector is helpful. Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting complex mechanical systems and controls is also desired.  Must be able to develop, implement, and monitor capitol projects.  Must possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical, leadership, and communication skills (oral & written).  Strong organizational and computer skills are necessary. A minimum of 3 years related experience is required, 7+ years desired.
