Ayers/Saint/Gross Architects & Planners is a 140 person firm with experience designing environments that support the creation and dissemination of knowledge and culture for major higher education, civic and cultural institutions. With headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland and other sites in Washington, D.C and Arizona, our span is national with an increasing presence internationally.

 

As a result of explosive growth in our signage projects, we are looking for an experienced environmental graphic designer in our Baltimore office.

 

Requirements: The ability to work on a variety of Environmental Graphic Design projects including college and university wayfinding, cultural facilities, and mixed-use environments.

  A thorough understanding of EGD and implementation processes including programming methodologies, design intent documentation, message schedules, shop drawings and submittals, and construction administration supervision.

  Vendor and consultant management experience.

  Thorough knowledge of materials with specific emphasis on exterior material performance and sustainability.

  The ability to read and understand architectural documents and to work within multidisciplinary teams incorporating architecture, planning, marketing and graphic design.

 

Minimum qualifications:

  Minimum 4 years overall experience with at least 2 years in environmental graphic design, wayfinding and signage experience Bachelor’s degree required Proficient in both PC and MAC plaforms Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design required. AutoCAD a plus.
