Experienced Structural Drafter

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Structural Drafter for Interstate Structures. Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Computer Aided Design Drafting and 3 years experience with structural steel detailing. Solid, basic mathematical skills also required. CNC Plasma programming experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:Generate detailed drawings necessary to perform all phases of fabricationEvaluate all drawings to ensure accuracy and that state, federal and customer specifications are metPrepare support documentation such as bills of material and shipping listsAnalyze technical problems and communicate design developments and/or improvements
