Fire Protection Engineer

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated technical skill in designing fire alarms & fire suppression systems and experience in code consulting.  The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated interpersonal skills through experience interfacing with clients, engineers, architects and others of varying technical abilities.

 

Requirements include:

· Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

· 2+ years experience (As outlined above)

· AutoCAD proficiency

· Knowledge of building & NFPA codes

· Proficiency Word, Excel, Outlook

· U.S. Citizenship

· Ability to obtain a government security clearance

 

Preferred:

· Knowledge of ABS

· PE or EIT in Fire Protection
