Furniture Sales Representative

Spherion Staffing is currently seeking an individual to sell office furniture.Duties and Responsibilites include: preparing, presenting and delivering furniture proposals, quoting prices and credit terms, preparing sales contracts and providing estimated dates of delivery.  Also, will prepare furniture for demonstration and sale utilizing knowledge of product and client needs.Will be responsible for traveling the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective clients, create and maintain a client profile and needs assessment on every client in the territory.  Will need to complete and submit sales reports weekly and expense reports monthly.Responsible for scheduling workday and upcoming work week to ensure effective time management.  Will visit client locations and suggest furniture size, style, color, fabric and wood that would compliment the site. Will also resolve client complaints regarding delivery of damaged or incorrect merchandise.Position involves the use of a computer, Z-Axis(furniture layout system), 10-key calculator, tape measure, copier, fax machine, telephones, email and internet.  Must also be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume, applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Sales representative will be required to use their own vehicle.If interested, please complete online application @ www.spherioncareers.com and email your resume to lauraleeevenson@spherion.com Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
