GIS Project Manager

Overview: Stantec Consulting Services Inc. is seeking a GIS Project Manager to provide leadership in our Cincinnati, OH office. The candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and a team oriented professional, who can demonstrate resourcefulness, take initiative, be detail oriented, and possesses quality team building techniques. The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include; effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion, delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, liaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, coordinate resources, mentor new employees, integration of GIS and engineering applications. As project manager you will also be responsible for ensuring that our products are delivered within quality standards. Overtime may be required in order to meet project deadlines. Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management. Qualifications: Qualified applicants should possess the following: Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Cartography, Computer Science or Related Field, 5-10 (min.) years of GIS experience, Project management skills including the development of budgets and schedules, experience with ESRI's suite of GIS products, knowledge of National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) or FEMA's Map Modernization initiative, strong written and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
