Geologist

Brotcke Well & Pump Inc. is a leader in the field of municipal and industrial water supply services.  Part of our service to our clients includes geotechnical drilling and the collection of soil and rock samples.  We are located in Fenton, Missouri, approximately 15 miles west of St. Louis.

 


Job Description

We are seeking a Geologist to aid in our contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers.   We will consider an entry-level candidate as well as someone with several years experience. This position performs a variety of duties, including logging of overburden samples and rock core, geophysical logging and coordination of field activities with both subcontractors and the client. 

Brotcke Well & Pump values a strong team spirit and expects all of its employees to work towards our goal of 100% client satisfaction.  Therefore, the successful candidate will be required to work in the office, shop and field in various capacities.  Some examples include down hole video inspection of water supply wells, vibratory analysis of industrial motors, preparation of equipment and materials for field installations and collecting hydrologic data for water supply design. 
 

Requirements

The successful candidate must have a BS in geology.  Additionally, she or he must be willing to work in a variety of capacities and have the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities.  Some overnight travel will be required.
