HR Director

BLT Architects, an architecture and interior design firm based in center-city Philadelphia, has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a HR Director. In this role, you will develop Human Resources policies and programs.  The major areas covered are employee relations, organizational development and training, recruitment and talent management, organizational planning, compensation, benefits, and employee services.  In addition, you will originate Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide a balanced program; coordinate implementation through Human Resources administrative staff, and assist and advise principals and senior management on Human Resources issues.

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) and a minimum of 5-8 yrs experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Human Resources - primary in the professional services industry.  We seek a Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, employee relations, organizational planning, training and development and compensation. Strong leadership skills required to present and implement ideas and programs.  Occasional travel to Las Vegas and Atlantic City required.
