Interior Design Sales Manager

Project Dynamics Inc. is seeking a full time Interior Designer Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to work with Senior Interior Designers as well as Junior level designers. The ideal candidate, will be a strategic thinker and able to contribute creative solutions in terms of problem-solving. We are looking for natural leader who functions at a high level within a pressure filled environment.

 

Responsibilities to include but not limited to: 
Sales of furniture/furnishings as well as services Outside and inside sales Support sales by collaborating on customer visits, presentations and proposals. Manage design productivity and billable time. Management role with design staff. Provide design support when designer are at full capacity. Develop and present performance tracking data and management reports.   Develop and deliver training to design, sales and project management team members.


The ideal candidate will generate sales of furniture and services. The candidate will be able to prepare CAD drawings for clients, research and assist in the selection of furniture, finishes, and materials, work closely with vendors. Monitors own work and others to ensure quality performance and results consistent with company expectations. Customer Service and the ability to satisfy all customers will be the key to success in this position.

Computer skills will be required to create documents as well as communicate through the use of e-mail. The candidate will be creative and be able to problem solve.



QualificationsA Bachelors degree in Interior design from a FIDER accredited University. Proficient in AutoCAD (required: ACAD 2004 minimum) Sketching and rendering capabilities Proficient in other software programs: Photoshop, Excel Spreadsheets, Power Point, and Word. Advance level of furniture design/industry knowledge (product, automation tools, etc) AutoCAD, CAP, major furniture lines (systems, casegoods, electrical, etc). Knowledge of State and local building codes. Team player with a positive, "can do" attitude Must be detail oriented and organized Must work at a high level of accuracy Work well under pressure Ability to follow direction Strong verbal skills Management experience



Able to work hours as needed to complete the work and deadlines. Normal office hours are 8am-5:00pm
