Responsibilities:

· Conceive, design, develop, test and integrate new products, releases and features

· Research, recommend and implement technical design and solutions

· Participate in continued development of core engine, including enhancement of development tools and web-based applications

· Produce technical documentation

· Identify and troubleshoot problems

Required Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent area of study, or equivalent work experience

· 2-5 years of software development experience

· 2 or more years of Java and object-oriented application development experience

· Excellent software design and implementation skills

· Excellent problem solving and analysis skills

· Effective communication skills

· Ability to write effective technical specifications, design documents, and other technical documentation

· A self-starter who works well independently as well as within a team

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with Agile methodologies

· Experience with Java3D, Java2D, Swing, Eclipse, CVS, XML, J2EE, Web Application Development

· Experience with 3D graphics development, including OpenGL

· Experience with SQL-based database-driven application development

· Knowledge or experience with AutoCAD or other Drafting Software

· Networking, Server, Database, and OS Administration Experience

 

· Cross-platform development experience (Windows, MAC, Unix, etc.)
