Job Captain / Senior Draftsperson

A Small Pasadena Design Office is presently conducting a search for a Job Captain / Senior Draftsperson.

 

The individual selected for this opportunity will assist the Project Manager in preparing constructiion documents and providing construction administration services.  He / She will coordinate with consultants and building officials and will check plan submittals as well as review shop drawings.  Canidates must be proficient with most aspects of building code and zoning issues as well as the ability to be capable of redlining a set of construction documents and directing the efforts of the production team.

 

The successful canidate will have two to five years of experience in an architectural firm, including two years experience in retail and office architecture.  The canidate must be proficient in AutoCAD 2004, as well as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

 

The canidate must have exemplary communication skills, both written and oral and thrive in a small office environment.  Personal integrity and ethical business practices are a must.
