Jr. Mechanical Designer/Engineer

We are seeking a junior Mechanical Designer/Engineer to build a Healthcare team in our San Francisco office.  Experience designing the building systems for Healthcare facilities and/or labs is REQUIRED. MAJOR ACTIVITIES:• Lead and support the mechanical design and engineering of systems for Healthcare projects - includes heating, cooling, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, and building automation and controls.• Prepare drawings and perform system design calculations• Select equipment for use in building systems and write reports• Interface with clients and attend meetings• Work in close contact with the entire design team REQUIRED SKILLS:• Strong technical knowledge• Ability to interface with clients• Strong communication skills• Project management experience a plus REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Previous experience at an engineering consulting firm; BSME, EIT and P.E. a plus• 5+ years HVAC experience• Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD  Syska Hennessy Group provides excellent opportunities for career growth.
