Jr. Mechanical Engineer

We are currently seeking a Jr. Mechanical Engineer in our Los Angeles office. MAJOR ACTIVITIES:• Lead and support the mechanical design and engineering of systems for Critical Facilities projects• Perform calculations, equipment selection and specification, system design and layout, and construction administration • Perform CAD work • Write engineering proposals • Interface with clients and attend meetings• Work in close contact with the entire design team REQUIRED SKILLS:• Strong technical knowledge• Ability to interface with clients• Strong communication skills• Project management experience a plus REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor Degree from accredited university in mechanical discipline; P.E. a plus• 3+ years relevant experience in the mechanical field• Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD• Proficient in design and calculation software Syska Hennessy Group provides excellent opportunities for career growth.
