Kitchen Designer/Salesperson in BERMUDA

The posting says "New York" since we wanted to search in the largest candidate pool... but this job is in Bermuda, so you must be willing to re-locate.We are a builder’s supply store looking for a young, energetic person to join our fast-growing kitchen sales department. Ideally you have experience in one of the big-box stores doing kitchen design.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Qualify Customers for design consultation

 

- Provide quotes and maintain a filing system to track and follow up with customers

 

- Answer telephone inquiries about kitchens, baths and general building supplies

 

- Sell RTA cabinets

 

- Design using 20/20

 

- Complete purchase orders to vendors for customer orders - Follow up with the order all the way to the completion stage, coordinating with contractors and installers- You will also be responsible for helping out on the sales floor selling general building supplies on days when extra staff are needed 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

 

- You must be a Graduate from an Interior Design and or any other Design or Construction course. NKBA or better qualifications.

 

- Previous Kitchens experience necessary

 

- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends

 

- Sales motivated

 

- Friendly, courteous, people oriented and very mature

 

- Able to work well independently and with a team

 

- Highly organized, able to work under pressure and produce high quality work
