LIGNE ROSET Furniture Showroom Manager

LIGNE ROSET is an international, design oriented home furnishings retailer that manufactures and markets an award winning line of contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories through more than 900 retail showrooms worldwide.

 

We are looking for an energetic and proactive Showroom Manager, with an uncommon degree of common sense, for our Newport Beach location, in Fashion Island, the newest of the 5 Ligne Roset Showrooms in Southern California. This position is very entrepreneurial, creative and rewarding for the right candidate.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·      Manage the day-to-day operations of the showroom to meet or  exceed the sales, expense,and operating plans.

·      Lead, recruit, train and develop a high performance team to increase  sales volume, improve the level of the customer experience, and build  long-term customer relationships and to handle difficult and  complicated sales.

·      Create an environment that is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable for  customers and co-workers.

·      Ensure that all merchandising strategies and display standards are  met in order to provide a unique and positive store experience.

·      Identify and help implement strategies to maximize sales.

 

Job Requirements:

·      Previous high-end, design oriented retail experience.

·      Passion for contemporary design.

·      A quick thinker who is: organized and detail oriented, flexible, and  able to think outside the box and multitask.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      Able to work flexible shifts that will include holidays, weekends and on  occasion, extended hours.

·      Proven selling skills.

·      Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising and POS  systems.
