Lighting Design Engineer/Project Manager

Lighting Design Engineer/Project Manager/ Mechanical Engineer  Molding, melding, casting, manufacturing light.  Want to innovate and create lighting through hands-on manufacturing?  This position is the perfect vehicle for a lighting creator to see their ideas take shape.   This Design Engineer position is a great opportunity for a design and manufacturing-oriented creator.  This position is critical for a Chicago-based company serving the outdoor market for almost 90 years.  There is an immediate opening for the talented person who has outdoor lighting experience and beginning-to-end product design and project management skills.  Put your design and production skills to work for this employee-owned and -operated company.  Your compensation is a direct result of your creation and contributions.   Requirements: 2-5+ yrs. experience working within the lighting industry Ability to convert 2D drawings into 3D designs using AutoCAD, Inventor 3D, and Photopia reflector design software (or equivalent).
