In 2004, Heery strategically expanded our operations by launching a subsidiary - Heery America - to handle projects for clients that require clearences to conduct work on classified projects or within classified spaces. Heery also acquired HLM Design, now a division of Heery International, which specializes in healthcare and justice design.

Heery/HLM Design is currently experiencing a period of significant growth and is seeking to identify a Mechancial Designer for our Iowa City office.

Requirements include 0-5 years HVAC experience doing mechanical building design (previous experience working at an engineering/architectural consulting firm preferred); CAD proficient (Microstation or Auto Cad); ability to take instruction while possessing the initiative to take charge; a team player; good communication skills, ability to interface with clients; 2 year drafting degree minimum - but BSMS preferred, EIT/PE a plus.
