Move Coordinator

BRG is a professional services company providing integrated workplace solutions. Our services include space planning, move management, asset management and assisting organizations in streamlining operations through BPI projects as well as implementing CAFM technology for Facilities Management and Corporate Real Estate.
The Move Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating routine daily move activities and execution of move plans.
Duties:
· Attend weekly meetings related to move activities comprised of Subcontractors and Project Manager
· Execute meeting minutes
· Provide Facility Planners with updates to the weekly move agenda
· Create move lists and project lists for move meetings and support teams
· Update daily move schedule as moves are added, canceled and completed
· Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts through balancing daily move schedule
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for overall execution of routine daily move projects.
· Coordinating the planning, scheduling and execution of routine daily move projects, furniture changes and furniture work orders
· Scheduling approved move requests in accordance with workload and process guidelines
· Communicating with Facility Planners about delivery/install schedules, move dates and other pertinent information
· Review plans and schedules and MAC requests
· Coordinate with Customers and Subcontractors in scheduling move activities
· Coordinate move activities with building management and security in order to ensure that all necessary building functions and access needed (i.e. elevators, loading dock, security officers A/C.) are available throughout the move
· Distribute move information package to local contacts for further distribution to Customers
· Arrange for delivery of moving packing materials
· Ensure that spot checks of work areas affected by move plans are conducted
· Ensure that current locations and office availability at destination locations is accurately reflected on move plans
· Supervise and remain onsite for the duration of all phases of the physical move
· Provide post move follow up at move destination locations
· Offer assistance with post-move problems of all kinds
· Perform post reconfiguration quality assurance checks and punch lists and coordinate pick up of excess furniture back to storage
· Move Coordinators will also communicate field updates to the CAD team
Requirements:
· Move Coordinators must have a working knowledge of and be able to read AutoCad drawings
· General knowledge of CAFM/IWMS systems such as Tririga® or Remedy
· Have an understanding of systems furniture and high level of familiarity with configuration and assembly of systems furniture.
