Right now, we are looking for a: Business Development Manager for the NY office. Ultimately, this position assists in achieving and exceeding revenue goals for the company and helps to build morale by identifying and winning crave-worthy / interesting projects.

You’d be successful if you were great at the following:

- basic administrative tasks
- planning and managing time and resources, establishing priorities and meeting goals
- interacting with senior clients, both internal and external
- working with mailing lists and client data base
- researching and analyzing companies / industries to identify opportunities
- coming up with creative, innovative out bound ideas and materials –
  out bound efforts (inclusive of cold-calling) will take up 50-60% of your time
- working with / leading / motivating multi-disciplinary teams in a pitch situation
- building pitch presentations
- writing and / or proofing proposals
- establishing budgets / pricing projects
- providing updates for monthly leadership meetings
- significantly affecting and building agency culture / “life”


It would help if you had:

- a college degree with a marketing / communications focus
- minimum of five years experience in the marketing industry
- an understanding of branding
- experience with out bound efforts / cold calling
- previous experience in sales / ability in achieving sales targets in a sales role
- strong relationship building capabilities
- experience leading teams and motivating others to take action
- extraordinary attention to detail – you must be a perfectionist at heart!
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint (InDesign a plus)
- an outgoing personality
