Operations Assistant/Data Analyst

ANSHEN+ALLEN, Architects, recently awarded one of the “Best AEC Firms to Work for” by Building Design+Construction Magazine, is seeking an Operations Assistant/Data Analyst for its downtown San Francisco Office. The successful candidate must be a detail-focused team player, a strong collaborator, a quick learner of process, and able to streamline complex input into logical assumptions. Reporting to the Director of Practice and Project Management, the Operations Assistant will work on a variety of the following operational issues:

Staffing Assignments for 150 staff members
Staffing requests from Project Managers
Work plan generation from Project Managers
Budget and authorization updates for projects
Forecasting and analysis of project performance

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in business or operations research, or equivalent years’ experience in a related field
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
Proficiency with gathering, analyzing, managing and reporting data skillfully, turning numbers into information and support for recommendations
Ability to anticipate future problems, needs, or changes
Business fundamentals and orientation toward business management metrics and reporting
Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, must have strong knowledge in MS Access
