PLC Programmer / Electrical Designer

M & A Solutions, Inc. (www.masol-inc.com) designs and builds automated manufacturing machines that range in size from desktop to integrated manufacturing floor systems.  Our staff consists of mechanical and electrical engineers, technicians and machinists who work together to provide our customers with innovative solutions.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven individual who’s technical, business, and interactive abilities would make them a key member of our staff.

Functions:Interact with customers to develop machine specificationsDevelop creative programs for PLC, motion and vision systemsDevelop electrical concepts and designsEstimate labor and hardware costsAuthor customer proposalsCreate 2D ACAD electrical schematicsSupervise and assist with machine manufacturing and startupContribute to business strategy discussions

Qualifications:

·  Demonstrated PLC programming proficiency, Allen-Bradley experience is a plus

·  Demonstrated ability to program motion control systems

·  Proficiency in electrical design and assembly

·  Skilled in industrial vision systems programming

·  Ability to assemble and trouble shoot electro-mechanical systems

·  Knowledge of medical device design and manufacturing is desirable

·  10+ years of directly related experience.  Extensive experience may substitute for a degree in a related field.

Compensation will be based upon candidate’s qualifications.M & A Solutions, Inc. is located in Bluffdale, Utah (20 miles south of Salt Lake City).
