PROJECT MANAGER

 

FULL TIME OR PROJECT BASED PROJECT MANAGER positions are available for a consultant firm providing OWNERS REPRESENTATION and REAL ESTATE SERVICES for clients and developers. The office is located in Midtown Manhattan and some local travel will be expected.

 

Candidates shall have well rounded professional and personal experiences and are entrepreneurially driven.  All positions and tasks require that staff be flexible and be mentally and technically adaptable to changing professional dynamics and client demands.  Staff shall be self starters, work independently and function well within teams and structured roles.

 

Project Manager with Public Project Experience 

 

We are seeking a Project Manager (PM) who shall be in charge of projects based on experience and will report to the Project Executive.  Candidates shall have a minimum of 5 to 10 years experience. Past projects involving NYC or New York State financing/funding is of importance.  Specific understanding of the construction industry is required and experience in construction project administration, estimating, scheduling and other project management techniques are essential.  Interpersonal skills, working with teams and computer skills are a prerequisite.  Undergraduate or Graduate Degrees in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, and Accounting are desirable.

 

Our firm features a wide range of interesting and diverse assignments in the cultural, residential, corporate and mixed use, social services and economic development sectors. Candidates will have accomplished organizational and critical thinking skills; fluency in written and spoken English essential (bi-lingual candidates desirable) for this position; use of project computer based programs, knowledge or experience with green building practice will be a plus.
