Now for the Nuts & Bolts:

We’re growing and our Atlanta (Alpharetta) office needs a Plumbing Designer for large scale architectural building system projects.  You’ll be designing complex architectural plumbing systems for large architectural, commercial and industrial projects.

 

You must have at least 1 year of experience designing complex plumbing systems for large commercial and industrial projects. 

 

You must also be proficient using AutoCAD. 

 

An engineering degree and EIT are preferred but not required.

This important role requires the following skills and responsibilities:



·  Ability to design complex plumbing systems

·  AutoCAD proficient with working cad drawings.

·  Ability to design complex plumbing systems

·  Develop sections and elevations of complex equipment and piping areas

·  Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases

·  Select and schedule equipment with limited oversight

·  Meet with vendors to determine specification requirements for application

·  Performs field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects

·  Respond to RFI’s for the project, and accurately review submittals

·  Solve installation problems with plumbing systems, travel to the site to resolve issues
